calServer is calibration management software for accredited calibration laboratories, calibration service providers and quality assurance in manufacturing. It manages test equipment with due dates and loan items, guides each calibration through to a released certificate, and keeps traceability to reference standards, measurement uncertainty and conformity decisions with guard bands on the record. Certificates are released under a four-eyes principle and issued as sealed PDFs, and digital calibration certificates (DCC 3.3.0) can be generated and imported. An audit trail, customer and order handling, a document system and a Fluke MET/CAL integration complete the product, which has been in production since 2008.
calServer is developed by calHelp, a sole proprietorship in Teltow, Germany. According to the vendor, it can be run as a cloud service hosted in Germany at Hetzner, or self-hosted with Docker Compose, Kubernetes or OpenShift on MySQL, PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server. Self-hosting lets you decide where data lives, including in closed networks. The website does not name any parent company.
