geopilot is an open-source hub from GEOWERKSTATT GmbH for validating and exchanging geodata. Data suppliers upload files, and geopilot checks them against model specifications in real time. A REST API lets deliveries and data retrieval plug into existing processes and the STAC standard catalogues delivered objects by time and place. It is aimed at organisations that exchange INTERLIS geodata.
GEOWERKSTATT GmbH is based in Aarau, Switzerland, which is not in the EU but is an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision; no foreign parent is named. The source code is published under the GNU AGPL-3.0, so you can run geopilot yourself or have it integrated into your own geodata infrastructure. The vendor also offers it as a cloud service, hosted entirely in Switzerland with a hosting partner that it says is ISO 27001 certified. For European organisations this is a self-hostable, non-US option for geodata validation and delivery.
