Iru, formerly Kandji, is a platform for securing devices, identity and compliance. Its endpoint product provides device management, endpoint detection and response and vulnerability management through a single lightweight agent. Iru also offers passwordless workforce identity with device-bound authentication, automated compliance controls with continuous evidence collection, and an AI layer. Administrators can configure through a visual interface or manage settings as code. Iru supports Apple devices, Windows and Android. Kandji was founded in 2018 as an Apple-only management platform and was renamed Iru in October 2025, when it opened to Windows and Android.
Iru is a privately held US company, so it falls under US jurisdiction, including the CLOUD Act. Its sub-processor list names Amazon Web Services as hosting provider, with locations in the United States and Germany, without describing which customer data sits where or whether customers can choose a region. Iru reports SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications. European organisations should ask which region hosts their tenant.
