Jirav is cloud software for financial planning and analysis (FP&A). It connects accounting, workforce and operational data and uses it for budgets, forecasts and multiple scenario plans. It supports driver-based forecasting, a full three-statement pro forma covering income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, industry-specific templates, and customisable reports and dashboards that compare actuals with budget and scenarios. According to the vendor it is aimed at accounting and CFO advisory firms, small and midsize businesses and venture-funded companies. It is delivered as SaaS.
According to its privacy policy, Jirav, Inc. is a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in Austin, Texas, US, and is therefore subject to US jurisdiction, including the CLOUD Act. The privacy policy does not mention the GDPR, refers to no data processing agreement and does not make clear where data is hosted: only site hosting by third parties is mentioned. Financial planning data is often business-critical and confidential. European organisations should therefore ask beforehand where data is stored, which sub-processors are used and what contractual safeguards apply.
