Kitcast is cloud-based digital signage software for managing screens on Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, BrightSign, Samsung, LG, ChromeOS, macOS and other platforms. It began in 2015 with a native tvOS app for Apple TV, supporting zero-touch deployment through Jamf, Mosyle and Kandji and offline playback. The platform provides a template library with a drag-and-drop editor, time-based scheduling, zoning, emergency notifications, screen sharing via AirPlay, tags and roles, an API and, on higher tiers, SSO, SCIM, audit logs and MDM support.
Kitcast Inc. is headquartered in California, USA, and says it is independently owned and operated by its founding team, following a seed round in 2017. As a US company it is subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act. According to the vendor, content and data are stored in AWS data centres; no region or country is named. Kitcast lists GDPR and SOX compliance, MFA and SSL encryption. It is proprietary SaaS without a self-hosting option, so ask which AWS region applies.
