Lansweeper is a platform for discovering and inventorying IT assets. It maps an organisation's IT landscape so that IT and security teams get visibility of the devices and software on their network. It is delivered as a cloud service. Organisations use it as an alternative to the discovery and inventory modules of ServiceNow or Microsoft Configuration Manager.
Lansweeper NV is a Belgian company with its registered office in Merelbeke. Customers choose a hosting region for their inventory data: Europe or the United States (Ohio). Some features, such as credential-free device recognition, run in Europe and can cause limited data transit outside the selected region; tenant metadata may also be replicated across regions. The company was owned by Dovesco together with the American Insight Partners. In July 2026 it was announced that the British fund Bridgepoint will take a majority stake, with Dovesco remaining a minority shareholder. For a European organisation, the ownership structure after that transaction closes is the relevant point to follow.
