Legisway is a legal management platform for corporate legal departments and compliance teams, offered as cloud software by Wolters Kluwer. It keeps contracts, legal entities, litigation records and intellectual property rights in one repository. It adds contract lifecycle management with document generation, key-date alerts, version control and AI-assisted contract analysis. Configurable workflows and intake portals let non-lawyers submit requests, and connectors link it to CRM, ERP and e-signature tools.
Legisway began as a French software publisher and now belongs to Wolters Kluwer, a group based in the Netherlands. According to Wolters Kluwer's data processing schedule, the platform is hosted in Germany in AWS data centres in Europe, with backups in Ireland, and connections are encrypted with TLS 1.3. The software is proprietary. Vendor group and hosting locations are in the EU, although the infrastructure provider, Amazon Web Services, is a US company, which is a point to weigh in a CLOUD Act assessment.
