Matillion is a cloud data integration company. Its current product, Maia, uses AI agents that plan, build, test, deploy and fix data pipelines, with users reviewing each plan before it runs. Maia Foundation, formerly the Data Productivity Cloud, provides drag-and-drop pipeline design, connectors, orchestration and governance for Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery and Redshift. The original Matillion ETL remains supported for existing customers. Data teams use it to load and transform data in their cloud data warehouse.

Matillion lists offices in Manchester (United Kingdom), Denver (United States) and Hyderabad (India). It is not open source. In Full SaaS, Matillion hosts the runner and project metadata; in Hybrid SaaS, the runner and secret vault run in the customer's own AWS or Azure account. The account region is chosen at creation and cannot be changed; customer data and metadata fall under regional protections, while account, user and billing information is global. The documentation reviewed does not list the regions, so a European organisation should confirm an EU region exists and consider Hybrid SaaS.
