Mes Adresses is an online tool with which municipalities manage their addresses, from building a Base Adresse Locale (BAL, a local address base) to keeping it up to date. The BAL can be published into the Base Adresse Nationale, France's national address database. The application is meant to be usable without technical skills and has a built-in tutorial. It runs as a web service at mes-adresses.data.gouv.fr; the source code is a Node.js application that can also be built and started on your own.
The project began at the initiative of Etalab and has been steered jointly with the ANCT, France's national agency for territorial cohesion, since 2020. Copyright is held by the ANCT and the French Government; the licence is MIT. The pages reviewed do not state in which country the service is hosted.
