Mooncard is operated by Moongroup, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered in Paris, which is named as the controller in its privacy policy. As a French company it is subject to the GDPR. The privacy policy refers in general terms to transfers outside the EU and says that the list of sub-processors is available on request, without naming a hosting country or cloud provider. European organisations should request that list and the data processing agreement before signing up, since payment data is involved.
