Movistar Plus+ is the subscription television and streaming platform of Telefónica in Spain. It offers films, series, documentaries, entertainment and sport, spread across several packages. Programmes reach smart TVs, computers, mobile devices and streaming sticks over the internet. Some bundles are linked to Movistar fibre or mobile contracts.
The service is run by Telefónica Audiovisual Digital, S.L.U., a Spanish company based in Tres Cantos, Madrid, which belongs to the Telefónica group. Its privacy notice names the controller and the rights of data subjects, and it says data may be shared with Telefónica, S.A., the group's parent. The notice does not state where data is stored or processed, and it does not refer to the GDPR by name. A European organisation should therefore confirm hosting locations and data-protection terms before using the platform, since it is a proprietary service.
