N-central is N-able's endpoint management platform with advanced RMM (remote monitoring and management) capabilities, intended for MSPs and in-house IT teams that manage many devices and networks. It combines patch and vulnerability management, automation with workflows and templates, security with EDR, XDR and MDR, data protection through Cove, an AI assistant and integrations with other tools. N-central comes in two forms: hosted by N-able on Amazon Web Services, or installed and operated by the customer on its own infrastructure.
N-able, Inc. is a publicly listed US company, incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts; the contracting entities named on its website are N-able Solutions ULC and N-able Technologies Ltd. The regions in which the hosted variant runs are not published, so no EU hosting option is documented. Customers who operate the installation themselves keep their data on their own servers, but as customers of a US vendor remain exposed to the CLOUD Act for whatever the vendor itself processes. N-able publishes a data processing addendum on its website.
