OneStream is a software platform for finance teams that brings financial close, consolidation, planning, forecasting and reporting together in one environment (enterprise performance management, EPM). Its capabilities include account reconciliations, transaction matching, driver-based planning and scenario modelling, supplemented by AI agents for finance tasks. Teams can start with one capability, such as close or planning, and add others later. OneStream is a cloud-based platform; according to its documentation, each customer is assigned a cloud region.
OneStream is headquartered in Birmingham, Michigan. On 1 April 2026, Hg, a private-equity firm based in London, completed its acquisition. OneStream is no longer publicly listed; Hg is the majority voting shareholder, with General Atlantic and Tidemark as minority investors. The company remains a US entity and is subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act. Customers are assigned a region based on their base location: for Europe, the Middle East and Africa the default is Western Europe with Northern Europe as the secondary region, and UK regions are available on request. The software is proprietary.
