onway director is a management platform from onway ag for routers, network access and guest access in one multi-tenant system. Organisations use it to manage router fleets at sites and in vehicles, to control device network access and to provide guest access. Sites are set up from a template, and a replacement device receives the same configuration. Permissions can be set at a fine-grained level and changes are logged. Together with macman, a RADIUS server for network access control, and mpp for guest Wi-Fi access, it forms the software side of onway.
onway ag is headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland. Switzerland is not an EU member state but is an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision for data protection. According to the vendor, the service runs in the cloud or on your own infrastructure, and onway can also operate the products for you. The pages consulted do not state in which country the cloud service is hosted, so ask the vendor. No owner and no open-source licence is named.
