Panopto states that personal data may also be processed and accessed from other countries, including the United States, and it relies on standard contractual clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for transfers. For a European organisation, storing data in the EU does not change the fact that a US-headquartered provider can be subject to US legal requests.
