Pristy Espaces: sovereignty score and 8 European alternatives

Pristy Espaces is a document management application (DMS) for professional organisations such as small businesses and local authorities. You store documents in workspaces, keep favourites at hand, view PDFs in a dedicated viewer and edit office documents online and simultaneously with Collabora Online. Imported documents are recognised automatically with OCR. The product grew out of its developer's more than ten years of experience with Alfresco and is meant as a simple alternative to Microsoft 365 storage.

Pristy is developed by the French company Jeci and is free software under the AGPL v3; the source code is on GitLab. You can install it on your own servers (on-premise) or take it as SaaS, which according to the vendor is hosted in France at OVH. Jeci states that the system grew out of the wish not to keep documents on American servers. When you self-host, all data stays within your own infrastructure and under European law.
