Prophix One is a cloud-based finance platform for mid-sized organisations that connects planning with financial close. Financial planning and analysis covers driver-based models, budgets, forecasts and scenario planning. Close and consolidation handles multi-currency, multi-language and multi-GAAP consolidation, and further modules include reporting and analytics, lease accounting, account reconciliation, cash management and intercompany management. AI agents support tasks such as balance matching and variance insights, and add-ins for Power BI and Microsoft 365 are available. Prophix sells it as a subscription service.
Prophix Software is based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. In early 2021 Hg, a London-based private-equity investor, acquired control of the company, with employees holding a minority stake. According to Prophix, the platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Its public pages do not state which regions are used or whether hosting within the EU is available, so a European organisation should ask for the data residency options and sub-processors in writing and check them in the Prophix trust centre. Prophix is proprietary software without an open-source or self-hosted edition.
