Stitch is a cloud data integration service that copies data from many sources into data warehouses, data lakes and lakehouses. It is used by data, analytics and BI teams who want to run pipelines without managing their own ETL infrastructure. Stitch is delivered as SaaS and, according to its website, is now a Qlik product.
Qlik, the group behind Stitch, is headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania (US), so the service falls under US jurisdiction, including the CLOUD Act. Its servers run on AWS. When creating an account you choose the region where replicated data is processed: North America (us-east-1) or Europe (eu-central-1, Frankfurt). This choice cannot be changed afterwards. Stitch makes a data processing addendum (DPA) available and states that it maintains a privacy programme designed to comply with laws such as the GDPR. For a European organisation, the European pipeline region keeps processing in the EU, while the vendor itself remains a US company.
