Thriva is a UK service for blood testing at home. You take a blood sample at home, results appear in the Thriva app, and a Thriva doctor reviews them and explains them in plain language. The offering covers more than 75 health markers, a health assistant that draws on your results and connected wearables, and a view of your results over time. The app connects with services such as Apple Health, Fitbit, Oura, Garmin and Strava.
Thriva Limited is a British company, outside the European Union, so UK law applies alongside the GDPR. Its regulated medical services are overseen by the Care Quality Commission in England. According to its privacy notice, most service providers are also located in the United Kingdom; transfers to other countries rely on adequacy decisions or approved contractual clauses. Thriva holds ISO 27001 certification. The service is not open source. A European organisation offering the tests should have it confirmed in advance which processors and laboratories are involved and where data is stored.
