tugpgp is a small utility for generating OpenPGP keys and uploading them to a YubiKey. It is meant for individuals and administrators who want to keep a PGP key on a hardware token rather than on disk: according to its description, the tool does not write the generated key to disk unless you explicitly ask it to. It is a desktop application that you install yourself; the repository contains a Tauri project folder, and earlier releases shipped packages for macOS and Linux.
The project lives in the GitHub organisation of Sunet, the Swedish university network in Stockholm, which is part of the Swedish Research Council. The source code is open source under the GPL-3.0-or-later. Because the tool runs locally, no key material has to be sent to an external service. It is actively maintained: the latest release dates from April 2026.
