Veeva Vault is a cloud platform for life sciences organisations, such as pharmaceutical and biotech companies, that brings data, content and AI agents together. It manages documents, videos and images with versioning, lifecycles and electronic signatures, and supports audit trails, workflows and dashboards. The platform underpins more than fifty applications covering areas such as clinical research, regulatory affairs, safety, quality and commercial operations. Solutions can be configured without code; for integration there are REST APIs, a Java SDK and Microsoft Office integration. Veeva Vault is delivered as SaaS and is not open source.
Veeva Systems is headquartered in Pleasanton, California, and is listed on the NYSE. According to its own documentation, Vault environments run in data centres in the United States (Oregon, Virginia and Ohio), in Germany and in Japan. A European organisation can therefore opt for hosting in Germany, but the provider is a US company and is subject to US legislation such as the CLOUD Act.
