Vidal France S.A. has its registered office in Issy-les-Moulineaux, near Paris, which makes it a French and EU company. French press reported in 2016 that the Japanese group M3 was acquiring the Vidal group, which would place its ultimate owner outside the EU. The company's pages do not restate the ownership, name a hosting location or set out a processing agreement, so these points are not confirmed.
