Werlabs is a Swedish provider of digital health checks. You order a check, activate it and have blood drawn at one of more than two hundred sampling sites in Sweden. A Werlabs doctor reviews and comments on the results, which are then stored in an online journal. Werlabs also offers smaller blood tests and examinations using MR and DEXA scans. Samples are analysed by accredited laboratories, namely Synlab, Unilabs and Karolinska Universitetslaboratoriet. Werlabs is registered as a healthcare provider with the Swedish authority IVO.
Werlabs AB is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and is therefore subject to Swedish and EU law. Its privacy policy names no foreign parent company. According to the policy, no health data is moved outside the EU/EEA by Werlabs or its suppliers. The service is not open source. A European organisation considering health checks for employees can rely on that statement; Werlabs does not name its hosting provider.
