Yooz is a cloud-based platform for accounts payable and purchase-to-pay automation. It uses AI to capture, code, export and route invoices, statements and expenses for approval, with a configurable workflow engine. Further functions include statement reconciliation, payment automation and fraud prevention. The vendor lists integrations with financial systems and ERPs such as QuickBooks, Sage and Microsoft Dynamics 365. It targets finance teams and is delivered as software as a service.
Yooz SAS is registered in Aimargues, France, and the sources consulted name no parent company. According to the vendor's security page, data is hosted in Microsoft Azure data centres located in Europe, with geo-redundant backups, and the vendor reports ISO 27001 and SOC 1 Type 2 certification. The page does not name the countries of the data centres or say whether the backups also stay in Europe. As the hosting provider is Microsoft, a US company, this is relevant for CLOUD-Act assessments. Yooz is not open source, and no self-hosted version is described. Ask for sub-processors and storage regions in the data processing agreement.
