AI Verify is an open-source testing framework and toolkit for AI governance, developed by the AI Verify Foundation. It tests AI systems against internationally recognised principles for trustworthy AI and records the results in reports. Project Moonshot, from the same foundation, is a modular tool for evaluating and red-teaming large language models and LLM-based applications; the project itself describes Moonshot as being in beta. Both are Python software under the Apache 2.0 licence and run on your own infrastructure. They are meant for organisations that want to test and document AI systems before deployment, as an alternative to commercial AI red-teaming and AI-assurance platforms.
The AI Verify Foundation is a Singapore-based not-for-profit company wholly owned by Singapore's Infocommunications Media Development Authority (IMDA). The project therefore sits outside EU and US jurisdiction. Because the tools run locally, test data and model outputs stay in your own environment; the foundation does not operate a cloud service for them. The Apache 2.0 licence allows inspection, modification and internal use without a vendor relationship.
