Its customers include broadcasters, content providers, network operators and streaming platforms. The range covers the TITAN, KYRION, NEA and PILOT product lines and Ateme+, a SaaS offering with live and file services. The products can be deployed on the customer's own infrastructure or on a cloud of the customer's choice, and Ateme+ is offered as a service. Founded in 1991, Ateme has been listed on Euronext Paris since 2014.

Ateme's headquarters are in France, its general terms are governed by French law, and the Paris Commercial Court is the designated venue for disputes. The cloud-native software runs on AWS, Google Cloud or any Kubernetes environment. Ateme has also validated the platform on Scaleway, a French cloud provider that Ateme describes as built around European jurisdiction and the SecNumCloud framework. For a European organisation, this means the hosting location and cloud provider are chosen by the customer, and the service can run entirely within European cloud infrastructure.
