xPlan is pension fund software from aXenta AG for the administrative and actuarial management of the Swiss second pillar (occupational pensions). The modular application covers, among other things, member and pensioner administration, contribution billing, plan definition, a workflow system with an internal control system, and document management. Optional modules add a web portal for insured members, a portal for employers and brokers, and interfaces to HR and accounting systems. It is aimed at collective foundations, autonomous pension funds and administration firms.
aXenta AG is headquartered in Baden-Dättwil, Switzerland, and its website names no parent company. Switzerland is not an EU member state but is an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision. Under the name xCloud (xPlan as a Service), aXenta operates the software in two geo-redundant data centres in Switzerland and states that it is bound by Swiss data protection law. The website does not say whether installation in the customer's own environment is possible; ask the vendor.
