Banking Connector is a cloud platform for the corporate payment operations of finance teams. It combines payment management, risk management and connectivity: payment data comes directly from the ERP system, is released according to your own rules and is recorded in an audit trail with timestamp and user. Before execution, payments are checked against sanctions lists, unusual amounts, duplicates and changed payees, among other things. Through EBICS, SWIFT, host-to-host, SFTP and APIs, the platform connects banks, ERP systems and other financial applications, with a dedicated integration for SAP. The software is delivered as SaaS.
Banking Connector is developed by npXsoftware GmbH in Essen, Germany; the website names no parent company. According to the vendor, the platform runs within the European Union, and the security page says in Germany, at hosting providers with server locations in the EU and with data processing agreements. Single sign-on and multi-factor authentication are supported. For a European organisation this means a vendor and hosting within the EU; ask which hosting providers are used and how bank-related data is handled.
