BISON Retail ERP is a modular merchandise-management and ERP system for retail and wholesale businesses, including food and specialist retailers, branch chains and franchise organisations. According to the vendor, it covers purchasing and replenishment, goods receipt, warehouse management and picking, branch and price management, promotions, sales to end customers and invoicing. A companion app, BISON Store Mobile, supports processes in the store. The vendor says the system is developed in Switzerland and Germany, is released weekly and can be used as a SaaS cloud service.
BISON Schweiz AG is headquartered in Sursee, Switzerland, and describes itself as a company of the Swiss fenaco-LANDI group and its IT service provider. A German entity, Bison Deutschland GmbH, is listed in Kaiserslautern; no foreign parent is named. The vendor does not state where the SaaS service is hosted, so ask about the data centre location, subprocessors and a data processing agreement. Switzerland is not an EU member but is an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision for personal data transfers.
