BouwWorks is the ERP solution from BouwInfosys for mid-sized and larger construction, infrastructure and installation companies; for smaller firms the same company offers a separate Office line. The package combines relationship management, costing, project administration and cost control, service and maintenance, equipment, planning, logistics, finance and HR with time registration. Portals and apps are also available, for example for site managers, home buyers and mobile work orders. According to the vendor, a new release appears every six months.
BouwInfosys B.V. is based in Helvoirt, the Netherlands, and therefore falls under European law. The website names no parent company outside the Netherlands. It does not say whether the software runs as a cloud service or on your own servers, nor where any hosted data is stored, so ask the vendor before you decide. The privacy statement says data is shared only where necessary, within the Netherlands or the European Union. For European construction firms looking for an industry-specific alternative to a broad ERP suite, this is a Dutch option.
