Colour Contrast Analyser (CCA) is a free desktop tool for checking whether the colour contrast of text and visual elements meets the WCAG guidelines (2.0, 2.1 and 2.2). You enter colours as HEX, RGB, HSV or HSL, pick them from the screen with an eyedropper and adjust them with sliders. The tool also includes a colour-blindness simulator. According to the publisher it can be used for websites, apps, social-media graphics, presentations and PDF files. The program is installed locally, for Windows and macOS.
The source code lives in the GitHub organisation of TPGi (The Paciello Group) under GPL-3.0 or later. The product page is published by Vispero, which is based in Clearwater, Florida, US; TPGi's own page redirects there. The software runs on your own computer, but questions and bug reports go through the US maintainer. For a European organisation this is a small utility with no cloud component. The most recent release dates from September 2025.
