EasyProd is a web-based, modular ERP system for mechanical engineering and manufacturing companies, developed by Federer Informatik AG in Berneck, Switzerland. Companies choose the modules they need, such as administration, production, NC programme management, warehouse management, time recording, document management and reporting. Production orders, costing, bills of materials, purchasing, stock and quotations run in one browser-based system with a dashboard, favourites and interfaces. The vendor develops and supports the system itself.
Federer Informatik AG is a Swiss company with its seat in Berneck, and its site names no foreign parent company. The vendor's pages do not say whether EasyProd runs as a hosted service or on the customer's own infrastructure, nor where data is stored. Switzerland is assumed from the company seat, so ask the vendor to confirm, and check the data processing agreement and the sub-processors. Switzerland is an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision.
