Enforce Administrator: sovereignty score and 8 European alternatives

Enforce Administrator is a system hardening tool from FB Pro GmbH for Windows and Linux. It applies configurations based on recommendations from BSI, DISA, CIS, ACSC and Microsoft, monitors systems continuously and corrects changes, whether accidental or intentional. It also provides audit and reporting with compliance status per system, dashboards, automatic alerts and scheduled jobs. Multiple stages and server groups are managed centrally, and REST APIs with OAuth 2.0 allow integration. Supported systems include Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2012 to 2025 including Active Directory, SQL Server, IIS and Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian, SUSE and Red Hat. Licences are subscription-based per system; an optional managed service is available.

FB Pro GmbH is a German company based in Grolsheim. No parent company was found. The customer's IT staff install and maintain the software themselves, so configuration and audit data stay on your own systems. The company also publishes the AuditTAP package for automated audit tests via GitHub.

Why digital sovereignty matters with Enforce Administrator

Enforce Administrator is headquartered in DE and therefore falls under European law: the GDPR, NIS2 and the Data Act. No foreign legislation can compel access to your data.

Enforce Administrator runs on infrastructure you choose and control yourself. You decide where the data lives, including fully within the EU if you want — this is not a fixed hosting choice made by the vendor.

Enforce Administrator is closed source, but you run the software yourself on your own infrastructure. The encryption keys and the runtime therefore stay under your own control, though you cannot audit or modify the source code. Ask about export options and open standards to limit software-level lock-in.

What this means for your organisation depends on your whole stack and context. The free assessment weighs Enforce Administrator together with your other vendors and gives a total score, a heatmap and the main risk drivers.
