TaxWare is software for tax, pension and financial planning, aimed at professionals in fiduciary services, tax advice, financial advice and pension advice in Switzerland. It combines Swiss tax calculations with analysis, simulation and planning functions: you compare scenarios such as moving to another municipality, salary versus dividend, or early retirement, and show the results in charts. There are separate parts for tax planning, pension analysis and financial planning. According to the vendor, TaxWare is installed locally on Windows devices or centrally on a server in your own IT environment, using Terminal Services.
TaxWare is made by TaxWare AG, which its website says is part of the FIVE group; the imprint gives the address of FIVE Informatik AG in Schönbühl, Switzerland, an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision. No parent outside Switzerland is named. The software runs in your own environment, so you decide where client data is stored; no cloud service is described.
