Hop3 is an open-source Platform as a Service for deploying and managing your own applications on your own servers, in the spirit of Heroku-style workflows. It offers Git-based deploys, process management, builders (native, Nix or Docker), service add-ons such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis and S3-compatible storage, backup and restore, Let's Encrypt certificates, and a web dashboard, CLI and JSON-RPC API with multiple user accounts. Supported platforms include Ubuntu, Rocky Linux and NixOS. The project site describes Hop3 as beta software whose architecture and APIs can still change.

Hop3 is maintained by Abilian SAS, a French software company focused on open source. The code is licensed under Apache-2.0 and everything runs on your own infrastructure, so data stays there. No hosted service from the maker was found on the pages consulted. Development, including the Nix integration, was co-funded through NLnet and the EU's NGI0 Commons Fund.
