Konta-Swiss is a Swiss accounting and business-management package for self-employed people, small and medium-sized businesses and fiduciary firms. It covers bookkeeping with or without VAT, debtor and creditor invoicing with QR bills, bank file import, payroll and an optional module for clients, tasks and time tracking. An AI assistant called Alba suggests accounts when entries are made and can analyse photographed receipts. Earlier accounts can be imported, and a fiduciary firm can be given access for review. It is delivered as software as a service in the browser.
The software is supplied by Neofidès SA; the terms are governed by Swiss law, with the courts of Neuchâtel, where the development team is based, having jurisdiction. According to the vendor, data is stored on servers in Switzerland run by an IT team in Switzerland. Switzerland is not in the EU but is an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision. No foreign parent company is stated. The vendor does not describe which provider is behind the AI assistant, so ask where its requests are processed.
