Destinations include USB drives, NAS, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, FTP servers and public clouds, as well as an optional Langmeier Backup Cloud. The software is downloaded from the website, installed locally and offered in several editions with a trial period.

Langmeier Software GmbH is based in Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland, which is not an EU member state, and was founded in 2004 by Urs Langmeier. Because the program runs on your own systems, backups go to the destination you choose, and the jurisdiction of any third-party cloud applies.
