LSC (LDAP Synchronization Connector) is an identity provisioning engine that synchronises data to and from LDAP directories. It reads, transforms and compares data from databases through JDBC, LDAP directories including Active Directory, flat files and REST APIs, then creates, updates or removes entries in the target. Typical uses are feeding a corporate directory from an HR database, or keeping accounts and groups aligned between OpenLDAP and Active Directory. Transformations use built-in JavaScript and Groovy engines, and the tool can run continuously, as a one-off import or as a comparison report. It is written in Java and installed on your own servers.
LSC is run by Worteks, a French open-source consultancy and software publisher with its registered seat in Paris, which also hosts the project website. The code is released under the BSD licence, and recent releases appeared during 2026. Work on the project was supported by the NGI Zero Core fund of NLnet, with European Commission funding. Since you run LSC yourself, identity data flows only between systems you control, and there is no vendor-hosted service.
