Moneysoft is standard software from the Swiss software house Megos AG for investment management. It combines securities accounting, financial accounting, fund valuation including NAV calculations, investment compliance and reporting in one system. According to the vendor it serves banks, pension funds, asset managers, fund management companies, trusts and investment foundations. Transactions are processed and reconciled automatically through import connectors, and a built-in formula language lets you define calculations, controls and reports. Moneysoft is installed software and, according to the vendor, is now also available as a web application.
Megos AG is headquartered in Brugg, Switzerland, and describes itself as an independent software house; no foreign parent company is named on its website. Switzerland is not in the EU but is an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision. The website does not say where the web version is hosted; with an installed deployment you choose the environment yourself. If you consider the web version, ask the vendor for the hosting location and a data processing agreement.
