Northflank is a platform-as-a-service for building, deploying and running applications, databases, jobs and AI workloads. It offers build and release pipelines, preview environments from pull requests, secure sandboxes for untrusted code, autoscaling, backups, rollbacks and GPU workloads, as a management layer over Kubernetes. It is operated through a web interface, CLI, API or GitOps and integrates with GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket. Workloads run on Northflank's own managed cloud, on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, or in the customer's own cloud account through Bring Your Own Cloud; on-premises deployment is also possible.
Northflank Ltd is registered in London, United Kingdom, and is therefore outside the EU. Its managed cloud offers European regions in Frankfurt, the Netherlands and Zurich, besides a general Europe West region, so workloads can run within the EU. With Bring Your Own Cloud, workloads stay in your own cloud account and the chosen cloud provider determines the jurisdiction. The platform is not open source. The privacy policy names a representative in the EEA but does not say where data is stored.
