Omada Identity is an identity governance and administration (IGA) platform from Omada A/S. It manages identity lifecycles and access rights for human, machine and AI agent identities, with role management, separation-of-duties controls, access requests and approvals, and audit reporting. Organisations use it as Omada Identity Cloud, or as Omada Identity Cloud Private, which runs in the customer's own Microsoft Azure tenant.
Omada is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, and, according to an independent review, is owned by the Danish investors GRO and Kirk Kapital. Omada Identity Cloud runs on Microsoft Azure; under the data processing agreement the customer chooses either an EU region, operated by Microsoft Ireland, or a US region. With the Private option, identity data stays in the customer's own tenant and in an Azure region they select. A European organisation should confirm which region applies to its tenant and bear in mind that the underlying infrastructure comes from a US cloud provider.
