Paradox is conversational hiring software. Its AI assistant Olivia holds short conversations with candidates through text, chat and the career site, automating job search and application, screening, interview scheduling, onboarding and feedback. The product is delivered as SaaS and connects to an existing applicant tracking system. Since the acquisition on 1 October 2025, Paradox has been part of Workday and is also offered as Workday Paradox.

The parent company, Workday, Inc., is based in Pleasanton, California, and is therefore subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act. Paradox does not publish in which regions customer data is stored, so it names no European data residency either. Paradox does state that it maintains an information security programme to manage compliance with obligations such as the GDPR, and cites SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. European organisations processing candidate data should settle storage location, sub-processors and transfer mechanisms contractually.
