planeus is software for production planning and scheduling in manufacturing companies. Planners coordinate orders, projects and resources in Gantt charts, manage master data, shift plans and absences, and run what-if simulations. Shop-floor data collection, reporting and monitoring of disruptions and key figures tie the plan to what happens on the line. The planning logic is assembled from more than fifty building blocks that you switch on as needed, and interfaces connect planeus to external systems such as ERP. An AI planning assistant is available as a beta.
planeus is developed by th data GmbH in Berlin, Germany, and can be rented as a cloud service or installed on-premises. According to the vendor, AWS hosts the cloud environment. The region is not stated on the vendor's public pages, so ask the vendor where your data would be stored. AWS is a US company. If you want to keep data fully under your own control, the on-premises option is the alternative. The website names no parent company outside the EU.
