Plytix describes itself as a multiproduct commerce platform that combines product information management (PIM), digital asset management, feed management, an AI content studio and B2B enablement. Brands, manufacturers, retailers and distributors use it to centralise product data and media, track content completeness, enrich and localise product content, and distribute it to online shops and marketplaces. It is used as an online platform with account login and offers API access.
According to its privacy policy, the primary data controller is Plytix S.L. in Málaga, Spain; Plytix.com ApS in Denmark and Plytix.com Inc. in the United States may also be involved in processing. The policy names AWS, MongoDB and Redis among its infrastructure providers but does not state a hosting region, and it says that transfers to the United States are frequent, based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. A full sub-processor list is available on request. European organisations that need processing to stay within the EU should request that list and the hosting location before use.
