Sevalla is a hosting platform for web applications, databases, S3-compatible object storage and static sites. Developers connect a Git repository on GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket, or a container image, and Sevalla builds and deploys it. It offers auto-deploy on every push and a preview environment for each pull request. Sevalla is delivered as a hosted service and is not open source.
Sevalla is a product of Kinsta Inc. According to Kinsta's sub-processor list, Google hosts the applications and Cloudflare provides security and performance; customers choose the data centre for their application. European locations include Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Kinsta's analytics cluster, which processes IP addresses and access logs, is hosted in the United States. Because the operator is a US company running on US hyperscaler infrastructure, a European organisation should take US jurisdiction into account even when it selects a European region.
