Taiga is an open-source project management tool for cross-functional agile teams. It offers Kanban boards with swimlanes and WIP limits, Scrum features such as backlog, sprint planning and burndown charts, issue and bug tracking, a wiki and dashboards. Roles, permissions, stages and fields can be customised, and the interface is available in more than twenty languages. Taiga can be used as a cloud service or self-hosted on your own servers.
Taiga originated at Kaleidos, a software company in Madrid, and is released under the AGPL. The cloud service tree.taiga.io has been operated since 1 March 2024 by Taiga Cloud Services S.L., a Spanish company; the privacy policy likewise names two Spanish joint controllers. According to the operator, its servers are in the EU: at the time of its announcement in Ireland, with a planned move to its own servers in Madrid. Self-hosting keeps all data on your own servers.
