Upsun, formerly known as Platform.sh, is a cloud application platform for development teams. Applications are deployed through Git, with a preview environment for every branch, a CLI and API, scaling without downtime and observability. Supported stacks include Python, Node.js, PHP, Ruby, Java, Go and .NET. A second product, Upsun Dispatch, offers workflows for teams and AI agents. Upsun is delivered as a hosted service and is not open source.
Upsun is operated by Platform.sh SAS, a French company with its registered office in Paris. The platform runs on infrastructure from AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud and OVHcloud, and customers pick a region. European regions include France (OVHcloud and Azure), Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom; there are also regions in North America and Australia. A European region on a US hyperscaler still involves a US provider, whereas the OVHcloud region does not.
