Vivodepot is an encrypted document vault for one's own life: identity, health, finances, provisions and more. The application is a single HTML file that runs entirely in the browser and needs no account. The vault is an encrypted file that the user keeps; according to the description, encryption uses AES-256-GCM with a key derived from the user's password. For agencies, the user deliberately releases an extract in an open format such as HL7 FHIR (International Patient Summary), vCard, calendar file or PDF. There are separate sub-vaults, and the interface is available in German and English.
Vivodepot is published by Vivodepot GmbH in Berlin, Germany. The source code is under the EUPL-1.2 on OpenCoDE. According to the privacy policy, the application sends no data from the vault to a server, so the data stays on the user's own device. The website is hosted at IONOS; Cloudflare (US) is used to process orders in the web shop.
