WeKan is an open-source Kanban application. You organise work in boards, lists and cards with descriptions, due dates, labels, comments, attachments and checklists. Views include swimlanes, tables, calendar, Gantt and Scrum, along with automation rules and import from tools such as Trello and Jira. Access can be set per board or per user. WeKan can be self-hosted, for example with Docker, Snap or Kubernetes. A SaaS offering and paid commercial support are also available.
WeKan is released under the MIT licence. According to his GitLab profile, Lauri Ojansivu (xet7) of Finland is the maintainer and CEO of WeKan, and the WeKan name is a registered trademark in Finland. Self-hosting gives you full control over where the data resides and which jurisdiction applies. For the SaaS offering, the hosting location is not stated on the project site, so confirm it before use.
