Channel 4 streaming is the free-to-view video on demand service of the British broadcaster Channel 4. It was earlier branded 4oD and then All 4, and since November 2022 it has been marketed simply as Channel 4. Viewers register for free to watch the latest programmes and a classic archive, and can download programmes for offline viewing. Channel 4 says the service is free because the broadcaster is fully advertiser-funded. It runs on channel4.com and in apps for phones, smart TVs, streaming devices and game consoles. Registration lets Channel 4 personalise content and ads; targeted advertising can be switched off in the account settings.
Channel 4 is run by Channel Four Television Corporation, a UK public corporation under the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, with no foreign parent company. The service is proprietary and not self-hosted. Its headquarters are in Leeds, with an office in London. The UK is outside the EU, and Channel 4's help pages do not say where streaming and account data are hosted.
